SEEKING ACTORS, SINGERS FOR NON-UNION FILM, NEW YORK
Seeking actors for feature film. Director: Tom Taddeo. Non-Union. Lo/No/Deferred pay. Overview: Docu-Drama shot on multiple formats, 90% done (shot and edited) and very excited about the festival run next year. Quality film that will stand out and be noticed; we are exploring the reality of what it means to be famous, mixing actual taped investigation testimony with fictional elements. Original score by Moby, and cinematography from three very prominent shooters in NYC. Scene breakdown: casting for a one-day shoot to be incorporated into the film as it stands now. The shoot is basically recreating an early 50s variety show a la 'The Show of Shows' or 'The Late Show.' Our bend on the show will be within the husk of an innocent and more naive 50s format, the content will be very modern, and at times, pushing the envelope of what might be acceptable. Each role we are casting is meant to shock the viewer into realizing exactly how far we have come since those simple times (much like Natural Born Killers but without the drugs). See individual breakdowns for specifics. Web: www.nystreetfilms.com. Apply to: Roberto Serrini at casting@nystreetfilms.com. Seeking: Male: 31-40, white. We are looking for a male actor to play the 'Jack Hannah' animal trainer for the show. No animal experience necessary (we'll be using a very exotic hamster). Either gender: 11-14, white. The character is the 'typical' child actor, forced into showbiz by their parents. Innocent and cute while being interviewed by the host, but the clip of the film they are promoting reveals a different person; it's meant to shock the audience by seeing a child in a very adult role i.e. 'Requiem for a Dream,' or 'American History X.' THERE IS A PROFOUND AMOUNT OF CURSING IN THIS ROLE, and all parents must understand that clearly. We understand that this will be difficult to cast, however, we require a very talented actor for this dynamic and extremely unique role. Female: 18-24, any ethnicity. We are looking for three girls to be do-wop singers for the band that plays on-stage. No singing talent required as you will be lip-synching but there are explicit lyrics, be advised.

She is dependent and it cause conflicts. Female: 18-24, all. She is a prudent person. Female: 18-24, all. She is a bigmouth and thoughtless person. Female: 18-24, all. She is a salesgirl in a clothing store. She persuades people to buy clothes.
